Gym Membership Agreement
Age and Eligibility
- Must be 18 years or older
- Children aged 12 years or older may train if accompanied by an adult, provided they demonstrate maturity and adhere to all facility rules.
Facility Access and Reservations
- All visits in our normal training hours between 6am-8pm must be reserved ahead of time through the Pike Fitness app to limit occupancy and ensure trainers have required equipment.
- After hours visits between 8pm-6am do not require reservation.
- Do not stay beyond your reserved time; unreserved visits and no-shows incur a $5 fee. Please book additional time if you require.
- Do not bring unregistered guests or allow access to others.
- Close and secure the front door upon entry and exit; do not use side or back doors.
- Do not allow access to anyone, even if you think they are a member – allowing access to unregistered guests will result in a $150 fee/occurrence and possible expulsion from the gym.
- We may close the facility at anytime for classes, events, film projects, cleaning, elevated Air Quality Index, etc. If you have a scheduled workout that is affected, we will notify you at our earliest convenience.
- Temporary closures will be communicated via email, text, and/or push notifications.
Health and Safety
- Do not come if you are sick or exhibit signs of any communicable disease.
- No one under the influence of alcohol or drugs is permitted.
- No smoking or vaping is allowed.
Facility Use and Cleanliness
- Wash your hands upon entry.
- Spray and wipe all equipment after use with provided spray bottles and rags.
- Keep feet off stretch mats to prevent wear.
- If you move anything, put it back in its place immediately after use.
- Failure to clean and put things away will result in 1 warning and then $5 fee per occurrence.
Equipment Use and Maintenance
- Treat all equipment and facilities with respect.
- Do not drop or slam dumbbells or weight stacks; lower them quietly and safely.
- Inspect equipment before use and report any damage to management.
- Use proper form and technique at all times. If you are unsure of how to do an exercise properly, please abstain until you get further instruction.
- Share equipment and limit cardio machine use to 30 minutes if others are waiting.
- Pike Fitness reserves the right to stop unsafe exercises and require personal training.
Conduct and Liability
- Respect other members, staff, and follow all instructions.
- Do not remove any equipment or property from the premises.
- You are liable for any damage or injuries caused by you, unregistered guests, or minors under your supervision.
Off-Limits Areas and Additional Rules
- Do not enter restricted areas or obstruct marked high-traffic zones.
- Use of lights, air conditioning, and heater should be as needed and turned off when leaving.
- Report emergencies immediately by calling 911 and keep a phone nearby if alone.
- Only closed bottles are allowed on the gym floor. All other food and drinks should be kept away from the equipment, near the cubbies or bar.
